Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructor has spent many years devoted to training in the martial arts and has attained a certain level of expertise to qualify him as a street combat instructor.

Through extensive testing and certification our instructor has attained profieney in this martial art and now enjoys sharing his skill and passing it on to his students.

John Noonan has over 25 years of street combat and weapons experience and is a certified instructor in Jeet Kune Do and the Filipino Martial Arts under Paul Vunak.

Molly Noonan  (Phase I - Level III : Intermediate / Advanced student)
Molly Noonan started training under her father at around 4 years old on his weekends. By the time she was 10 she was skilled enough to help at demonstrations. By age 14 she had reached phase 1 level 3 rank and would assist her father at times during private or semi-private teaching.

Lance began studying martial arts at an early age and quickly became interested in Bruce Lee's teachings. At age 14 his older brother David introduced him to Mr. Noonan, who he was currently studying under. He took several lessons and began practicing with David and studying books and other arts. In early 2008 he began training regularly under Mr. Noonan, and entered the Apprenticeship program. On May 16, 2010 he tested for and recieved his Associate Instructorship.


Russell Montalvo  (Phase II - Level I : Advanced student)
Mr. Montalvo started boxing at an early age, as well as many forms of self-defense. Russell met and started training under Mr.Noonan in 2002. Russell is currently the highest rank student in Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts under Mr.Noonan. Russell is also an active Judo competitor and practioner.


Cody Reed  (Phase I - Level III : Intermediate/ Advanced student level)
Cody first became interested in the martial arts when he was twelve years old after picking up a copy of "Tao of Jeet Kune Do". He soon met and started studying under Shihan Garner Train in the Japanese arts of Hakko-Ryu Aikijujutsu, Daito-Ryu Aikijujutsu, and Mugai Ryu Iaihoyodo. After a year, he met Mr. Noonan and begain training under him. After a year and a half of training he has reached Phase 1 Level 3, and he is aspiring to be an apprentice instructer by the time he reaches the age of 18.


Tim Alholinna  (Phase I - Level III : Intermediate / Advanced student)
Tim Alholinna has numerous credentials and accomplishments. We will be updating this section shortly to detail them.

Jeff Manfield  (Phase I Level I Student)
Jeff Manfield has numerous credentials and accomplishments. We will be updating this section shortly to detail them.

Blake Bowers  (Phase I Level I (student level))
Blake began wrestling in high school and excelled and placed in the state finals every year and also placed in the state finals for gymnastics all four years. He began his training under Associate Instructor Lance Poisson in early 2010, and was introduced to Mr. Noonan soon after. He is currently a Phase I Level I student and is working on his next rank.

Dale Vaughn  (Graphics Designer)  Send E-mail to Dale Vaughn
Dale is a full time college student at Michigan Technological University. Dale began doing graphic design projects for Mr. Noonan in 2003. Dale is responsible for creating and implementing artistic design projects. Including, but not limited to, web site graphics and certificate design.
